What we’re about

Team Project Run was established in 2017 by Head Coach Lloyd Kempson. The vision is not only to help you reach your personal goals with bespoke training but also to help you understand the mental, physical and social benefits that running can bring you.

We see too many people that would love the idea of starting a new exercise regime but fall into the category of not actually knowing what to do or where to start. From that point, you could hire a personal trainer for £££ per hour and follow the cardio sessions that are instructed or buy the latest edition of a fitness magazine and follow the basics and hope for the best that you can run your parkrun a little quicker than last month, or shave a few pounds off over a sustained amount of time.
What we are here to do is specifically break down each and every element of your training so it is completely specific to you and your progression to achieve the best results, physically, mentally and socially. With our team of world-class coaches, we’ve built a support network and team to help you progress with your running with a community like no other.

With over 1000 training cycles coached between the coaches, we hold the experience required to conquer any challenge that comes our way with your running journey. In a team of over 100 athletes, we have members that work in all sectors, all have different lifestyles, different needs and different requirements. This is where the 1-2-1 coaching style comes into its own and our results speak for themselves.

A factor close to our hearts is the relationship that is essential to succeed between the coach and the individual. Regardless of your ability or exercise history, a coach is more than someone giving you the workouts to do. Lloyd will express the utter gratitude he has for the influences he has met from around the world, that has taught him not only how to run and how to run faster, how to lift correctly, how to eat to enhance performance and maximize recovery but also how to be a better person and how to enjoy a healthy balance

“Lloyd is the hardest working person in the business and a great guy. I joined Team Project Run as a sporadic runner with a 30 min parkrun and due to Lloyd’s expertise and investment in me I’ll hopefully be cracking a 3hr marathon this year. With the health and social benefits brought from being part of TPR it has quite literally changed my life.”

Team Project Run offer professional, adaptable, tailored plans to athletes across the globe, regardless of their individual goals. They’re always available for encouragement and advice and the results the team get speak for themselves. Speaking of the team – what a great bunch of people. They are exactly what you need from a team and are encouraging, supportive and friendly!”

Craig

“Lloyd is an incredibly professional and friendly coach. My running has improved dramatically since I joined Team Project Run. Its so much more than just having an online coach, TPR is its own community – and its a great community to be a part of! Everyone is so supportive no matter what anyone’s goals are, and you’ll normally find a TPR cheer squad at the big races!

I couldn’t recommend Team Project Run highly enough.”

Becky

“I’ve now been with Team Project Run for just over two months and loved every minute of it, Lloyd’s knowledge and advice are second to none and is always great at communicating. Since joining I’ve taken 90 seconds off my 5km time, I’ve never felt stronger whilst running. In October I’ll be running my second marathon and I can’t wait to see all the progress I’ve made. All of the other team members and Lloyd are so inspirational, supportive and provide so much encouragement and motivation to keep you going.”

James

“I have been with Team Project Run for 6 weeks and love it. You have a personalised schedule each week or couple of weeks and each session you update your coach via the training app or online. The Coach is brilliant and tailors your plan to achieve your goals. The plan is also to work for you so is flexible with work/uni/family commitments that you have. The coach is very approachable and always on hand to give you advice and guide you. Not only that but you get to communicate with all the Team Project Run Family which is amazing for support. I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for me now I am coached by Team Project Run.”
