I’ve been with TPR for nearly 3 years now. I started as a complete beginner and coach Lloyd really helped me build my confidence with running outdoors for the first time and honestly, it was the best decision of my life. I never thought it was possible and I could enjoy running so much.
After 18 months of injury and not much knowledge on running, I stumbled across TPR on Instagram. I was paired with coach Aly Dixon and it has honestly been the best decision I have made for my running. I have improved massively across all distances, from 5k to the marathon, alongside enjoying my running more than ever. Team Project Run is a great community and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

How TPR was helped:
Structured training has been the biggest factor in helping me improve my times, the guidance from a coach to know how my week should be built to get the best out of my running & my body has been key.
Understanding the importance of quality over quantity in training has also ensured, I’m training productively.
Ultimately though, the most important thing is knowing you have someone in your corner supporting you & who has got you to the start line in the best shape possible, this gave me so much confidence that the target I was aiming for was both realistic & achievable, it’s invaluable heading into a big race!

I’ve been with Team Project run since October 2020, I was uncertain at this point whether I thought I needed a coach so I purchased a bespoke downloadable plan for a race in December . Lloyd said ( he didn’t know much about me at this stage ) I would run a 1:37 . Little confidence in this number however I exceeded this and came in at 1:36:24 . This was the drive I needed to have a coach guide me to a strong marathon time to GFA for London which has always been my dream . I’ve been with Lloyd who 1-1 coaches me for over a year now and sometimes I see the sessions and panic ( how will I run that ) but I know deep down I trust it and Lloyd knows I can do it .
The feedback is great, without it I don’t learn. The entire community is likeminded and I can always count on our chat that someone can offer advice when I feel stuck or need a discount code 😂.
A great team with a powerful ethos
My marathon PB was 2:45:37 when I joined TPR back in August 2021. In less than 1 year I’ve shaved off almost 20 minutes running 2:27:50 at the Manchester Marathon in April of 2022.
Joining TPR, and specifically the expert coaching from Aaron, has been fundamental in that improvement and I genuinely feel I wouldn’t have made those gains without his direction, knowledge and support.
Through a combination of structured training weeks, confidence in his approach and some consistency / graft on my part, we’ve been able to achieve some results i’m pretty darn proud of.
